Call to set up your next webconference or teleconference. A representative can make the booking for you and set up the event.


Now open for an hour longer, the OPSEU Resource Centre is able to serve all of our members better, especially those in Northern Ontario.


Four-digit dialing was introduced for faster, more convenient access to staff and executive board members.


The recent upgrade to the new UnionWare 4 software has improved service with its speed and efficiency. All information is now logged by Resource Centre representatives, who are able to ensure that the membership database is up-to-date, and that all confidential enquiries are noted for future reference.

When it comes to questions about labour issues or emergencies, it is the staff who make the OPSEU Resource Centre an exceptional information service.


Of the seven permanent full-time staff, two are bilingual, and all are able to give information on a wide range of subjects. From handling the denial of a WSIB claim to finding specific content from a Collective Agreement, fielding questions about member expenses and identifying your local steward, OPSEU Resource Centre staff are there for you.


The Executive Board representatives are 1st Vice-President/Treasurer Patty Rout, Lynn Orzel and Sandra Snider. Rob Kinnear is the Supervisor of the Resource Centre and Louise Woltman is Assistant Supervisor.


Fridmar came to the OPSEU Resource centre as an OPSEU member from the office of the Attorney General. He quickly came to appreciate the advantages of working with such a supportive group. "The team helps each other out," says Fridmar, "When you call the OPSEU Resource Centre we are all here to help you."


With access to an extensive and constantly updated database, the staff at the OPSEU Resource Centre are your first stop for information. The OPSEU Resource Centre can be reached at 1-800-268-7376 from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

OPSEU Resource Centre is a one-stop information centre for members. The centre is staffed during regular office hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.


OPSEU Resource Centre
operators are trained to answer questions on a wide variety of labour topics and emergencies, and know how to contact OPSEU staff, if necessary. They also have access to OPSEU membership databases and collective agreements.
